Had a GREAT CREW. Tim Galloway (good friend from Third Day Victory Church) and Jayleen Doyle (sweet gal!) The three of us had a wonderful 19 hours in Louisville, KY. Tim was gracious and rented a vehicle for us to get around. We decided to go downtown, we saw the Louisville Slugger factory, Glassworks, had a wonderful lunch at Bristol Bar & Grill, then ventured to Churchill Downs (Kentucky Derby grounds). Praise God for DOLLY (our fancy GPS unit in the car) Truly a lifesafer!!
We did two tours, behind the scenes to the barns where about 900 horses are housed. This is now where technology has failed me!! Mid day my camera freaked out on me, stating the "memory card" is the wrong format. What! Hello!! So I wanted to wait till I got home on a computer to see what happens, and decided to take these TWO, count 'em, TWO photos on my camera phone....wah wah wah....not as fun!! I took some amazing photos and very very very sad about losing them!! Just few minutes ago, I clicked "OK" to format the card, then it said "unable to format"....so boooooo!!! So a heartfelt sorry to my crew members Tim and Jayleen who were wanting these photos....Sorry!! It'll then be in our memory!!
So NOW I'M GONNA CHEAT: I've taken a few photos also from the internet to capture what we saw!! Below is Glassworks. This is not the same man working that we saw but you get the idea!
Refiner's Fire anyone??
This is the Louisville Slugger Museum, again not my photo, nor were we there at night! :)
We ventured to Churchill Downs (Kentucky Derby). Beauitful grounds!!!
This photo (below) is MINE!! YAY!!
