Its just beautiful here.... God's beauty!

I am in Fort Lauderdale for the night, but perhaps when you read this, I'll be poof in the clouds, to another destination. But I did get to set foot in the sand today. Didn't pack the bathing suit, which was okay, lil overcast. So I just plopped myself in the sand near the water... And just played my iPods favorite songs, and just sang to God!It was serene to watch His beauty around me and roll in with the tide... and now I am back in the room, admiring the humidity's effect on my hair = curls!
Yes, these two pictures of the bottle, were staged... LOL!! I like to collect sand on some of my destinations. So I did, and thought it'd be beautiful taking a picture.... Gorgeous!I thought this was neat. As one of my recent videos titled "Ocean", being about God is our Ocean. I saw this and thought, hmm, God is our Ocean Rescue from us drowning in weakness of addiction and ourselves.Oh and I forgot to include this fun photo!!! Yes again, STAGED!! Emma and I were giggling as we did the self-timer on my camera... To capture the moment of our new guitars!!!

Little bit of everything

So just when you think you've seen almost everything on the airplane, NOPE you know there will be a surprise on the flight!
This was during the boarding process on a Denver-Las Vegas flight, a non-english speaking family boarded. They were near the back of the cabin. This trip I was the "B" f/a in the back just watching this fun process. And low-and-behold, the little girl has brought on a HULA-HOOP, so of course I had to document it!! I was flying with f/a classmate Amber, so she was bringing the hula-hoop to the back of the cabin to figure out where to store this thing!!!
I had the privilege of saying goodbye to Betsy. My f/a friend and old roommate Karie's commuter car! Well, as many know, Karie willingly transferred to Milwaukee for a better Frontier life. But Betsy couldn't go with her!! I ventured down to Aurora to say my goodbyes and capture a photo of Karie with Betsy! Betsy- hope you found a good home!
Just last week, was able to work a flight to Cancun, Mexico. It's bittersweet if a long flight like that is worth it! You be the judge! The hotel is incredible, the ocean blue green is just heavenly and beautiful. We got in late afternoon so we didn't have much sunshine but nonetheless got to stand in the sand!

This was Zoey, a cute cute cute little puppy a friend of mine was considering keeping.... Isn't she precious?!

Isn't my job is glamorous!

There are some amazing things that come with this job of a flight attendant, but there's a trade off too!! The first picture is of a recent layover in Fort Lauderdale. Gorgeous sunrise out my hotel room window. So yes, glamorous!
#1: YES Glamorous: This is a glamorous perk to my job!#2 NO Not Glamorous: Lastnight, after 5 1/2 hours of sitting on an empty airplane, Frontier finally cancelled my flight, due to the crazy Spring Storm in Denver. When we arrived in employee parking lot, dragging my luggage through snow piles, and reaching my car, to only find 1 foot drifts around the etire car. But goodnews, I got to use my avalace shovel for the first time! Praise God for it!!
#3 No Not Glamorous: This job comes with sickness!! The past two days I felt a headcold hit me. So when I got home, I recalled I had EAR CANDLES! I've had the candles for a while now, and was just scared to use them, and you need a second person to be present to avoid and accident! LOL So my roomie Leann was willing to participate, and joyous, she captured a photo!! But my ears and head feel 70% clearer now!! Amazing!!#4 Glamor goes to God! On a recent drive to a counseling appointment in Westminster, I passed this church along the way, and I love how God always speaks to me through NEON SIGNS!! (This is the 3rd neon sign He has shown me in my journey).

I do continue to appreciate each prayer received regarding a recent discovery of more Kidney Stones. Mid February 2 of them were found. I've been back and forth with discomfort and pain. But timeoff work isn't an option when you don't know "when" it'll hit you (pass the stone). So for now I continue to trusting my Jesus for His healing and protection! Upon recommendation of my Urologist, about 15 weeks ago they wanted me to do a 24 hour Urine collection. To be sent off and analyized. I put it off, cuz who has time for this, to sit for 24 hours....Certainly I don't, certainly a flight attendant doesn't have the time!!! But made time this past weekend. So now when the results come back, we'll know what my body chemistry is doing that are building these calcium rocks! :) Keep praying

"Unshakable Faith" 3dvc Women's Conference

I just got back from an amazing time away with the Lord. This weekend was Third Day Victory's Women's Conference 2010. The theme was "UNSHAKABLE FAITH" . A powerful weekend. There a great presence of the Lord, He broke me more free of some things. It was just a great weekend to SOAK in the Lord! The photos below don't capture the retreat at all, but gives you a pinch of a glimpse! The retreat rocked, didn't get much sleep. So if there is a pic of me in it, yes, I'm sleepy!!! This was the view as I left Loveland Friday morning. I just had to stop by Lake Loveland and capture His beauty! Same mountain but in Estes Park! Long's Peak!
Band getting ready!! There is just something cool about female guitarists!!! We can play too!!

Just thought this photo turned out crazy cool. It was during a comedy video Saturday morning. But kinda looks like the Fire of God on the stage! Below, friend Emma (The Garden Within Bible Study leader) and myself, on Sunday morning, soooo sleepy!!! Trying to sport our new 3dvc, Unshakable Faith sweatshirt!

Below was a nice surprise in our hotel room upon arrival, that each attendee rec'vd. Our names on a card, that has been prayed over and prophetically spoken over by the female leadership of 3dvc women's ministry. Amazing to see other's cards, and even my own. Women that don't fully know the struggles each of us are going through, then to read what the Lord put on their heart to express WHO WE ARE!! I love it!! Strength, Freedom and Unshakable Faith!! Can't wait til next year!

Flying High

For those of you in freezing temperatures across the country, here is a photograph from my hotel room in Fort Lauderdale recently. I walked to the beach to just see the ocean!! I was also BLESSED couple days ago to fly with my dear friend Karen!! Amazing how a little 3:22 block hour Phoenix overnight can be one of my favorite trips of 4 years of flying!!! Thanks Karen!!! (may I have your autograph, hehe!)
Christmas 2009 at the Proctor's. My older sister (Valerie- far right) flew into town to celebrate Christmas in Loveland, younger sister Sarah (middle) celebrated too! I, crazy, but was home for Christmas. I was SICK with tonsillitis, so it wasn't too enjoyable being down and out. But it was nice to see the sisters.

Grandma turns 80

After three weeks of not knowing if I was going to make it to Grandma's 80th birthday party in Phoenix, the day before another Frontier flight attendant picked up my trip abling me to attend. So the 4 of us (mom/dad/sis-sarah and myself) jumped on a jet plane to Phoenix to celebrate with Grandma!! A wonderful time. We saw our cousins (Adam/Mary) that we haven't seen in 10 years. And my dad's step-sister Janet from Maui flew in for the fun too! Wonderful to see all of you! It was so early leaving Denver, but I think everyone takes photos like this, don't they?Very rare that our whole family came from across the country to meet up in Phoenix. Our family with Valerie's husband Ron.Sisters: Me (left), Sarah (middle), Valerie (right)My sister Valerie's husband Ron, entertained us each night with magic! Amazing card tricks!
Sister sarah (left) and step-aunt Janet from Maui (right) were consumed by their iPhones when they learned how to "Bump".
The balloon assembly line. Thank goodness for an aircompressor this year! 80 balloons!
Dad hard at work getting the homemade banana icecream going! We've all been looking forward to homemade icecream for months! I got upclose and personal with this hummingbird near by. I thought his hairdo kinda looks like mine! LOL
Beautiful way to end the day! Gorgeous!

Welcome
